i wish the camera hadn't moved in that opening shot! it was such an awesome time lapse of her getting ready and it threw it off. The rest of the thing is hilarious. I loved the camera angles and shots in this. they were so nice and it really made it work. awesome job!
Smart title. The volume is a bit loud. I think it was smart to show her in a hurry to get dressed. Showing the "project due" was blurry and that could have been better. It was smart to show the build up of coffee cups when studying at home. The zoom out at the end could have been smoother but that scene was good because it ended the video on a humorous note.
There is a lot of comedy in the video that I could really relate too. The shots were super clear and perfect. My favorite scene was the one where the alarm goes off and you wake up. Very well executed.
Very funny video!! The only critiques I have is when you filmed her running back into the room to get stuff, the scene didn't match up so it jumped. Also maybe if you would've edited the color tones in the classroom scenes because they have a very distinct yellow tint to them. Overall great video!!
I liked this video! I think you had a great concept and it came through well. I liked your choice to use jump cuts, actually. I think it's actually kind of symbolic...haha. Jump cuts have a kind of messy and unorganized look, but the life of a college student is sometimes messy and unorganized, as you can see with the scene where she's getting ready quickly in the video. Great job!
Super cool concept. The project turned out great!!!! Everything was edited very nicely and the acting was really convincing, I liked that you traveled all over to get this video done.
You had some very effective shots in this video. This semester, many of us have had trouble performing clean and steady pans, tilts and zooms. This video had a couple of problems with zooms, but a majority of the pans and tilts were very clean and steady. You also had a nice variety of shots and they were well arranged to tell the story. Great job, guys!
I thought this video was funny and very relatable being a college student. Editing was done well and the acting was pretty good too. Although she didn't say actual words, the strong gestures she used emphasized each emotion.
I like that you guys were able to tell a story without actually having any dialogue. The opening was hilarious, and I like how you sped it up. The intertitles worked well to explain the various experiences. A few songs sounded very familiar, and one song you had sounded like from a video game like Kingdom Hearts or something, or was this all creative commons? Overall though, I really enjoyed your video! Nice work

ReplyDeleteThe alarm at the beginning really helped sell the piece. It was so jarring and was a great introduction into her life.
